Life As I Know It...

Well, I just got back from visiting Burley, and it made me miss a lot of things. Soccer, my old friends, the town itself are just a few things. I am glad to be home but I wish I could visit more often. My mom informed me that the Rec Center soccer I'm doing was going to be combined with the younger group because we don't have enough people. I will be playing with kids 10 years old. Just great. I'm currently really frustrated about Drivers Ed, not only are my friends who are younger then me have permits but some of them have their licenses.  Grrrrr!!! Oh well. Life goes on.

Surprise!

Well, today I got a super amazing surprise! My first day of school got moved back by two weeks!!! The reason you ask? The new elementary school, which was opened last August, was built on the slant of a hill and is having structural problems due to the school actually sliding down the hill.  And what I think is even better is that it doesn't affect the date we get out for summer! Well at least for me, it does make it so the seniors get out at the same time as the rest of us, which stinks for them, but is awesome for everyone else!! So instead of August 23rd being my first day of school it's instead September 6th!! Yay for structural issues and more summer!!

Breaking Bad Habits...

During Young Women's today Krissie taught the lesson on repentance.  During the lesson she challenged us to break a bad habit.  And the thing about goals are is if you never write it down it will never get done.  So here goes. The habit I'm going to try to break is picking on my little brother Zach.  He is 6 years younger than me and is a master at pushing my buttons. He is currently having a rough time adjusting to life here, and me bullying him isn't helping him or me in the slightest. So for the next few days I will try my best to be the best big sister I can be. Wish me luck!!
